Hello everyone! I am very new to blogging but hope to figure everything out here in the next couple of days. I will try to keep this page updated and current so you can see what an average college student goes through.
My mornings usually involve a little time of relaxation before starting the day off. The alarm usually sounds at around 8:15 giving me just enough time to make it to my nine o'clock class on time. After getting ready, making a quick list of what the day entails, and a quick bowl of cereal I am on my way to my first class of the day, Abnormal Psychology. After the hour class, I am headed off to my workstudy. I am positioned in the Business Department where I help out one of the professors in any way possible. From correcting papers to making copies I am just there to assist him in any way. I usually spend about an hour at workstudy.
At 11:15 it is time for dinner. With so many options in the dining hall, there is always something to pick from also another thing I will hit on later on in my posts.
From 1-1:50 I have one of my biggest classes of the semester called Elementary Statistics. Since it is a requirement for many majors it is a large class. Since I am not very fond of math, I was a little scared for what the class would be like but it is interesting and the teacher is very helpful and understanding.
From 2-2:50 I have one of my most interesting classes called Psychology for the Exceptional Individual. It is one of my favorites because we are learning how to work with sign language. This class period goes by extremely fast and before I know it I am heading off to practice.
During the Fall I participate in volleyball but now in the Spring I run track here at Mount Marty. After practice and supper is "homework time." I try to get all of my studies done at a fairly decent time leaving some time just to sit and relax.
Always on the run, if there is any type of sporting event on campus you can usually find me at it. Other than that, I enjoy staying busy and will keep you informed with how everything is going in the next couple of days.
Carly
